"Beroe" - STARA ZAGORA

Major renovation of the athletics track for the Beroe training stadium, STARA ZAGORA

The construction works were completed in the period 2024-2025.

The construction works carried out on the site include:

Milling the concrete area under 5 and 6 corridors.

Construction of a new structure on the track. The old structure of the track under 1, 2, 3 and 4 corridors was completely removed and a new structure was built.

Crushed stone fraction was delivered and laid – 497.88 cubic meters

Waterproof asphalt was laid, incl. bitumen spillage was performed – 2936.69 square meters

Laying of specialized sports surfaces: 6 running corridors and 1 jumping hill for long and triple jump, surrounded by a sand trap. The sports surface of corridors 1, 2 and 3 is made of chamotte. The specialized flooring of slag and chamotte laid – 201.89 cubic meters

The sports surface of corridors 4, 5, 6 and in the “rest area” is a new flooring – polyurethane with a thickness of 13 mm for the track and 20 mm in the long jump area. The flooring is polyurethane sports certified flooring (sandwich system type) – 2661.69 square meters

A drawing has been made according to IAAF standards.

Built with new facilities for long jump and shot put

A fence has been built

A sprinkler system has been installed

The spectator stand has been renovated

We are proud that the athletics track we built has been nominated in the prestigious competition “BUILDING OF THE YEAR” for 2025 in the category “Social Infrastructure – Health and Sports.
