Modernization and repair of an existing athletics stadium – athletics track and facilities for athletics disciplines, SAMOKOV

The construction works were completed in the period 2024-2025.

The implementation was carried out in two stages:

STAGE 1: Modernization and repair of the athletics track.

The track has an area of ​​2,475.60 m2 and includes 4 corridors of the circular track and two straight corridors from the west as an extension to the circular corridors.

Within the framework of the stage, the fireclay was removed, the crushed stone base was leveled and compacted, and the asphalt pavement was made in 2 layers with bitumen spillage /binder with a thickness of 4 cm and dense asphalt concrete with a thickness of 4 cm./ on the entire area of ​​the track. After the asphalt pavement was laid, a rubber pavement for an athletics track, certified for WA/IAAF, was laid.

To ensure the drainage of the track, a linear drain was laid between the track and the football field with sectors.

A new openwork fence of panels with a height of 1.4 m and a length of 438.00 m was installed.

STAGE 2: Modernization and repair of facilities for athletics disciplines

The existing chamotte pavement was removed. The crushed stone base was leveled and compacted, and an asphalt pavement was laid in 2 layers with bitumen spillage /binder with a thickness of 4 cm and dense asphalt concrete with a thickness of 4 cm./. After the asphalt pavement was laid, a rubber pavement for an athletics track, certified for WA/IAAF, was stretched.

The track and field facilities for the following disciplines have been renovated:

Long and Triple Jump
Shot Put
Discus and Hammer Throw
Water Hurdle
